Common questions about tattoos and my studio

  • WHAT ARE YOUR RATES? I am 175$ per hour of tattooing (plus tax for non-cash transactions). I have a appointment minimum of $150 for smaller tattoos that take less than an hour.

  • DO I NEED A DEPOSIT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? Yes, all appointments require a non-refundable deposit of 50$ to get on the schedule. This is applied to to the cost of your tattoo. Deposits insure that you are serious about the tattoo and compensate me for my time and drawing if there is a cancellation/no show. I will send over this information through email.

  • WILL I RECEIVE A DRAWING BEFORE? I no longer send sketches before the tattoo appointment for a couple reasons. I work by my schedule, often drawing the day before your appointment since everyday I have one or two new drawings to produce. Drawings could also be stolen and tattooed by another person. People often change their minds on designs last minute, and drawing ahead of time would result in a lot of redesigns on my end. Please check my portfolio to make sure my style is preferred before booking.

  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY? Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will result in deposit forfeit. Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. If you need to reschedule more that 2 times and new deposit will be required.

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO DO FOR MY APPOINTMENT? Please eat something substantial and hydrate before your appointment. I do have snacks and water at the studio as well.

  • WHY DON’T YOU WORK WEEKENDS? I’m finally in a place where I can take them off for my personal life. I really appreciate my clients for working with me to book Monday - Friday, 10am-5pm. I like to start big projects 11am or noon. I can recommend some other tattoo shops if you cannot take a day off during the week.

  • DO YOU DO CONSULTATIONS? I usually will do all our consulting through email. Sometimes an in person consult will be requested if I need help understanding your idea. Also, large coverups may require me to see the tattoo in person before our actual appointment.

  • CAN I BRING A GUEST? I have room for three extra people to sit comfortably. They are welcome as long as they do not cause problems and hinder the tattoo appointment. PLEASE, do not bring very young children to your tattoo appointment. I don’t mind well behavedkids and teens.

  • IS THE STUDIO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE? Unfortunately no, it’s in a smaller loft space with one flight of stairs to get in.

  • ARE THERE TYPES OF TATTOOS YOU DON’T DO? I have a fairly wide range as a tattooer and take most things on. However, I do not specialize in Polynesian, super realism, arm, mandalas, geometric, or tribal designs. I also do not tattoo faces, necks, fingers or toes.
